| South Valley Area- Follows Routt County road 131 South on its way to Stagecoach and Oak Creek. Lake Catamount and a portion of Rabbit Ears pass are included in this region. Largely consisting of ranch properties. The Yampa River meanders through this section before it enters town. |
OC Pburg Yampa- Oak Creek, Phippsburg and Yampa are three small communities that are located along Routt county Road 131. Rural Living with access to the Flat Tops Wilderness area. |
Fish Creek Area- In the heart of the city of Steamboat Springs this is the typical residential area with schools, green spaces, and quick and easy access to everywhere in town. |
| Strawberry Park- located just 5 minutes from town and heading up into Buffalo Pass. Very scenic area with nice homes and lots of privacy. Strawberry Park Hot Springs is in this area and is a very popular spot with everyone. |
Downtown Area- The heart of Steamboat Springs and sometimes referred to as Old Town. Many new developments are being done along the Yampa River and will be a place for more sophisticated living close to dining and shopping. Also in this area are the classic Victorian homes along with all of the quaint and classic western homes. |
South Routt- Continuing south from the town of Yampa along Routt County Road 131, very rural with ranching and large parcels of land. |
West 40 Corridor- Area along US Highway 40 as you leave the town of Steamboat and head towards Hayden. Includes a few subdivisions such as Silver Spur, Steamboat II and Heritage Park. This area will be where a lot of the new development and subdivisions will be built after the base of the ski area is finished. The county has already developed a West of Steamboat area plan and this will be the framework for large-scale development in the future. |

Hayden- Small Town west of Steamboat Springs where ranching and the simple life still are the way of life. Tight nit community and good schools are making this town a great option at being only 20-25 minutes from Steamboat. Very affordable homes can be found here. |
Stagecoach- South of Steamboat, this area has seen a lot of interest over the last couple of years and still has plenty of room for growth. A firehouse is being built and a store and elementary school are in the works. This area has plenty of lots for sale and single-family homes. Another perk for the area is Stagecoach Reservoir where boating and fishing can be enjoyed. |
Grsck Bl Hen- Grouse Creek, Black Tail and Henderson Park, make up what is known as Yellow Jacket Pass and is about 15 minutes south from town. Nice and scenic this area has properties that have acreage and privacy, still within a short distance from town.
Grand County- On the Eastern side of Rabbit Ears Pass, about half an hour from Steamboat, Grand County lies at the entrance to North Park. This is the Moose Capital of Colorado and is an outdoorsmen’s dream with great hunting and fishing. |

North Hayden- Area North of Hayden and is a great place for recreation and viewing wildlife. Elk head Reservoir is a place to hang out and relax far away from the crowds. |
South Hayden- Largely farm and ranch land this area does lead to another access point in the Flat Tops wilderness |
